Nollywood star actress, Genevieve Nnaji has this beautiful message to share with fans:

The boy you punched today in the hall today committed suicide few minutes ago…

The guy you dumped today loved you with his life…

The girl you called a slut today in class is a virgin…

That boy you called lame, works every night to support his family…

That girl you pushed down today is already being abused at home…

That girl you called fat is already starving herself…

That old man you made fun of because of his ugly scar fought for your country…

The boy you made fun of for crying is doing so because his mother is dying and he can’t do anything about it…

The 15 year old girl you see carrying her baby was raped at 13…

You thought you know them didn’t you? Guess what, you don’t. You never know what people are going through so pause before you open your mouth judging, criticizing or mocking others. Everyone is fighting their own unique war…Don’t judge anyone!!!

Learnt anything new from her advice?

NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS,  JENNIFER ELIOGU’S CAREER HAS SEEN HER WALTZ IN AND OUT OF PUBLIC FAVOUR ON ACCOUNT OF CHARM AND SCANDALS, BUT 17 YEARS AFTER SHE REGISTERED HER PRESENCE, THE IGBO SCREEN DIVA IS STANDING TALL AND PROUD. HER LATEST SELF-DISCOVERY IS MUSIC AND SHE CHOSE THE SOUL AND GOSPEL GENRE TO RELAY A FRESH PASSION. THE BEAUTIFUL ACTRESS LAYS BARE HER CAREER, JOY AND PAIN IN THIS INTERVIEW WITH LANRE ODUKOYA

WHY I’M VEERING INTO MUSIC…

I really don’t have a reason for coming into the music industry so late. I guess it was meant to happen now. Over the years, I have been in and out of the choir. I have done music like a joke and played around. I like life performances. I recorded a few songs about four years ago. The push and zeal that I have now, I didn’t have before; but music has always been my first love. So, it is happening now and I guess this is just the right time.

RECESSION DID NOT DRIVE ME TO MUSIC…

It has nothing to do with that. I have been in the movie industry for 17 years. I started acting two or three years after secondary school and I have been relevant doing what I know how to do best. So, it is not about a career dwindling. In recent times, I released my own movie titled “From Within”, written and produced by me. I have also shot some movies for other people. Maybe, I am no longer your everyday actress. I might not be that shining star, but I am evergreen and I am comfortable with that. I am not leaving the movies anyway.

I DON’T CARE IF MY COLLEAGUES HAD WALKED THIS PATH BEFORE..

Why Ghanian Authorities Stop Aki & Pawpaw, Others from Shooting a Movie

Popular Nigerian actors Aki & Pawpaw, Kwadjo ‘Liwin’ Nkansah and other actors have been suddenly stopped from shooting a movie in Kumasi, Ghana.

The directive which came from the Film Producers’ Association of Ghana (FIPAG) was due to the fact that the director of the movie had breached some of the association’s regulations.

The public relations officer (PRO) for the Association, Mr. Michael Ola, disclosed this in an exclusive interview with NYDJlive.

The PRO explained that the FIPAG had no qualms with the Nigerian duo but believed the right procedure had to be followed, especially when the new executives of the Association had laid out new strategies to make the industry a better one.

Therefore, the duo has been asked to officially obtain documents from the Film Industry in Nigeria, working permit, as well as make payments for the continuation of the shoot.

It has been learnt that Peace and Love Productions, the production house which is in charge of the movie, had already commenced with procedure to make things easy for the continuation of the movie.

It would be recalled that Aki and Pawpaw got their fame in the mid 2000′s, when Nigerian movies became the toast of many across Ghana, and also for their intelligence in outwitting others in their movies.
